If you’re a cat lover then there’s only one event for you this year – and it’s devoted to our feline friends.
For a brand new cat festival is touring the UK and it’s heading to Cardiff for one day only.
Taking place at the Tramshed on Saturday, July 7 , Crazy Cat Fest will feature stalls packed with treats for your pet as well as cat-themed accessories; a cat cafe selling a selection of street food as well as cocktails named after kitties; and social media workshops teaching you how to take the best photos of your cat.
And local rescue centre cats will be on hand to be cwtched by visitors and you will also get the chance to learn all about adopting a cat.
The festival devoted to cats follows hot on the heels of the opening of Cardiff’s first cat cafe, Feline Good, which is based on North Road and is open to the public from Tuesdays to Sundays to serve gourmet teas, coffees and a selection of sandwiches, toasties and cake to visitors.
Tickets for the festival will go on pre-sale on Friday, January 19 and on general sale on Friday, January 26. For further details, visit the Crazy Cat Fest website
