Pets Alive, a no kill animal rescue and advocacy organizations with locations in Elmsford, NY and Middletown, NY, will hold its 6th annual Fur Ball Masquerade fundraising gala on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Trump National Golf Club, 339 Pines Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY from 5:00 -10:00 p.m. As the organization’s largest fundraiser, Pets Alive relies on funding from this event to care for the hundreds of animals they rescue each year.
This year’s event will have a Masquerade theme, where guests will don masks and enjoy a festive night of delicious food and cocktails, dancing, and an exceptional silent and live auction. Dr. Joseph D’Abbraccio, and John and Dawn Galetti and their four children, will be presented the Starfish award, given to individuals who commit to making a difference in the lives of animals and understand that helping many begins by helping just one. Sam Sullivan and Baxter Martin, junior volunteers, will be presented with the Kameron Jacobson Award, given to young people who act as positive examples for their peers by exhibiting empathy and kindness toward animals and selflessness in helping those animals.
All net proceeds from this event will support the hundreds of animals at Pets Alive. Items donated for the auction by generous organizations and individuals include jewelry; a summer camp package from Breezemont Day Camp in Armonk; exciting experiences such as Disney One-Day Park Hopper Passes, Broadway tickets to Hedwig and the Angry Itch, and U2 concert tickets; US Tennis tickets and other sporting items; restaurant certificates; spa certificates; pet items; artwork and more. The auction will be hosted online and will open on May 30 so that even those who are not able to attend the Fur Ball Masquerade will be able to participate and support Pets Alive.
