(Poughkeepsie, NY – April 11, 2015) Animal lovers from the Hudson Valley will get a chance to get a tattoo and help save the lives of companion animals on Saturday, April 11. Planet New York Tattoo, located at 11 Marist Drive in Poughkeepsie, is holding a fundraiser to benefit Pets Alive Animal Sanctuary. Supporters will be able to choose from select rescue and animal themed designs that will cost 100 dollars or less. Designs will be available the day of the event at the tattoo shop.
Guest tattoo artists Matt Montleon from Beacon’s Honorable Ink and Jesse Bink from Timmy Tattoo in Huntington, N.Y. will be joining the Planet New York team to ensure that there are enough artists on hand to accommodate the crowd.
The event will begin at 12 and run until 9 pm. Tattoos will be done on a first come, first serve basis. Planet New York suggests that people wishing to get a tattoo arrive early due to the popularity of this event. Those wishing to get tattooed must be 18 years or older with a valid photo ID.
