Cat adoption event had ‘line out the door’ at Saginaw County animal shelter – MLive.com

A male cat named “Charlie” looks over at Judy Schmitzer of Saginaw Township during a holiday cat adoption day at the Saginaw County Animal Care Center, 1312 Gratiot in Saginaw, Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014.

Saginaw County Animal Control’s adoption event held Saturday, Dec. 6, was one of the county-run shelter’s most successful adoption efforts in recent memory, interim director Elaine Thompson said.

“Saturday was fantastic,” Thompson said. “It was really a better turnout than we ever expected. We had people lined up out the door.”
