Baltimore Humane Society and Hunt Valley Towne Centre Want You to Bring Your Dog To the Mall

Bark Till Dark

Every Thursday evening this summer join Baltimore Humane Society at Hunt Valley Towne Centre for Bark Till Dark.  The no-kill shelter will be presenting a different program each week until August 28th.  Your entire family is invited, including your dog! Hunt Valley Towne Centre, a pet-friendly mall, is hosting the event and each Thursday many of their retailers will be offering special discounts as part of the Bark Till Dark event.

Baltimore Humane Society is using Bark Till Dark as a means to reach out to the public with interpersonal workshops on topics like housetraining, basic commands, coping with fireworks and thunder, teaching tricks to your dog, and even what to do about quirky and embarrassing pet behaviors.

Some of the retail specials each Thursday from 6pm-8:30pm include:

  • 10% off Subway dinner when you mention Bark Till Dark and eat on their patio
  • Buy a pack of doggie biscotti’s for your pooch and receive a free large cannoli for yourself at Vaccaro’s.  Enjoy your sweet while hanging out on their patio!
  • 10% off at PeiWei when you mention Bark Till Dark and eat on their patio

Staff and volunteers from the no-kill shelter in Reisterstown will also be seen strolling around the mall each week with adoptable dogs during lunch hour on Thursday or Friday and some Thursday and Friday evenings as well.
