This is Baby Doll and she really is a sweet and loving tabby cat and she is around 7 years young. We first became aware of Baby Doll’s plight back in February 2012. Baby Doll’s Mom had Alzheimers and had to go into a nursing home and that left her in immediate danger. Her Mom’s sister was allergic to cats and had dogs at her place. The Sister’s plan was to just take Baby Doll and another 10 year old family kitty to Easly, SC and just dump them out with some food. Since both cats were inside only cats that plan was not acceptable.
Our friend Marg agreed to foster Baby Doll until a local rescue could find her a home. The rescue never came back for her and basically told Marg just to take her to a shelter. That was not an acceptable plan as she surely would not have survived. Baby Doll is still with Marg. The original story is that Baby Doll would be best suited with a family where she could be the only cat since she did not get along well with others. Our feeling is that is not entirely true. Baby Doll is a sweet and gentle girl and would likely get along fine, after proper introduction time, with a cat with a docile personality. Baby Doll never starts any trouble with the other cats at Marg’s place. Marg just has more kitties than Baby Doll is completely comfortable with and consequently Baby Doll is living in a room by herself.
Even though the rescue let Baby Doll down, Marg has not. But, Baby Doll really doesn’t like living along and desires a loving, less feline populated home where she can love and be loved. Baby Doll is healthy, ready and waiting. Please share this information with others so we can help find Baby Doll that forever home that is just right for her.

Precious dear girl. Same goes to Marg for fostering Baby Doll.
Baby Doll – what a sweet kitty!! Marg is awesome, my hero! She looks a lot like my timid little Rose. I hope she finds a forever home soon and gets a life time of loves!!
I have tweeted it twice…
That is so sad! Hope she finds a great home soon!
Poor sweet Baby Doll! I hope she finds a forever home soon. We already have two indoor-only cats in a small house. (I came here from Katie Isabella’s blog.)
Our Human has promised to post this on Facebook.
We will keep our paws crossed and purr very hard that Baby Doll will find the loving fur-ever home she deserves.
