UPDATE: Peyton the survivor kitty gets her chance for happy

Here is the much awaited update on adorable little kitty Peyton…

Peyton has a chance for happy

Here’s little Peyton on her way to her chance for happy.  We had the best possible opportunity for sweet little Peyton.   This adorable little girl was accepted into Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in Asheville, NC, a simply fantastic no-kill shelter.  Better yet, she was immediately place in a foster home with a couple of FIV+ kitties.  Her foster Mom says she is doing terrific already, but of course she is, she is an incredible little girl.

This happy outcome was made possible with the special assistance of fellow blogger and cat lover Cheryl from The Cats of Wildcat Woods.  Cheryl not only went to bat for Peyton on her placement, she also helped with her transport to her foster home.  Thanks so much!!!

Tiny Peyton Cat Had a Brush with Evil and Now Seeks a Safe Forever Home – Greenville SC (UPDATED)

Please help Peyton

YEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, Peyton the little kitten screamed as the young evil boy was twisting his neck like a toy. STOP THAT!!! The neighbor ran to try and save Peyton kitten from the hands of this evil child. She managed to get the kitten away from him and called to ask for help. It was late at night and the ER would not see her because she had no money for treatment. So we got some kitten milk replacement and hoped it would survive until morning. Peyton did survive. This beautiful kitten is about 5 weeks old and weighs only .6 of a pound and as you can see, is barely a handful.

Peyton is badly malnourished and dehydrated but is getting fluids. Peyton has coccidia as well as an upper respiratory infection. But what little Peyton wants more than anything is a home.

Peyton does have another problem that I need to tell you about, we’re not sure yet if Peyton is a he or a she. Of course this little one is beyond adorable, beautiful coloring, a light brown tabby, and sweet as any kitten could be. When Peyton weighs enough he will be neutered/spayed, depending I guess, and tested and given his shots and will be good to go. After all little Peyton has been through a loving home is what is needed the most.

UPDATED 6/3/2013 AT 2:55pm EST. Sweet little Peyton tested FIV+ but we still need to help her have a happy life. Yes, Peyton is a girl, so now we know.

If you followed Ray Charles & Sister Rachael’s story, Peyton is from the same trailer park they came from. It is a never ending saga.

Please help us help Peyton find a forever home. You can contact me, Terry at: terry (at) foreverhomewanted (dot) com

Peyton is not in my possession, but is staying with our vet, so if you are interested, or can help, please contact me. I will put you in contact with my rescue partner who will be handling the vetting process.

Please share, share, share and share some more. Thank you so much.

We are so happy that Peyton is going to Brother Wolf. We are so grateful for your efforts, and the over-and-above actions of Cheri from Wildcat Woods.

We are so glad Peyton was rescued. What a miserable existence and what a horrid child! The happiest ending would be Peyton finds her loving forever home, and that child learns compassion and how to treat other beings.
