Animal Welfare Column: Can Felix find somebody to love? – UK

I’ve just heard a beautiful live acapella rendition of Queen’s “Can anybody find me somebody to love”.

I’m in Bournemouth at a singing convention and the words of this song are not lost on me as I think of all the people and animals who don’t just want someone to love them but also want somebody they can love in return.

Take Felix, his owner died earlier this year and, since then, he has been waiting to be found somebody he can love. When I went to see him and sat down in his pen, he came and sat by me very contentedly. If you want a companion, Felix is definitely your man. He’s 4 years old, very friendly and a chatterbox. He would make a wonderful family cat. If you can offer Felix a loving home, phone the RSPCA on 0300 123 0746 or go and see him at the Cat Adoption Centre, Burket Close, Southall UB2 4JS.
