While many no-kill shelters do wonderful work, many lose focus and take in more than they can reasonably take care of and they basically end up warehousing the animals and then quickly move into hoarding situations.

One can not make blanket assumptions about no-kill shelters, just as they should not make blanket assumptions about open-admission shelters.
