Culver City To Participate in Youth Empowerment Pet Adoption Campaign

Culver City Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department in collaboration with The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Control and Care Carson Care Center will host The Youth Empowerment Pet Adoption Campaign on April 27 and 28.

The event will be held at the Carson Care Center, 216 W. Victoria St. Gardena, 90246 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on both days.

The goal of the event is to reduce the number of dogs and cats that are euthanized. By adopting just one pet, people can make a huge impact. Everyone who adopts a pet will receive a fully stocked goody bag for his or her dog or cat.

The Culver City Youth Empowerment group is a volunteer committee of teens dedicated to the idea of the whole community. This year’s Global Youth Service Day project is to bring awareness to animals that do not have a voice.
