From Spartanburg Humane Society, Spartanburg, SC:
Brownie can’t catch a break! This adorable cat started off life as a stray kitten. The family who found her soon realized that they could not keep her and she was surrendered to the SHS. She was quickly adopted, but just as quickly returned because she developed a cold. Brownie has been recovering in foster care ever since. Unfortunately, each time she returns for adoption, her sniffles start up again. We are suspicious that Brownie just prefers the comfort of her foster home over the hustle and bustle of the shelter. But as much as her foster family loves her, they want her to find a forever home of her own! So, we’re going to let Brownie stay in her foster home while we search for her perfect match. According to her foster mom, Brownie is sweet and loving and very litter box trained. She is an active little girl who loves to run around and play with her toys. She settles down after she has played for a while and just chills out and finds a place to lay down. She still has some kitten in her and she enjoys exploring around and seeing what is going on. She is very curious and somewhat independent. She prefers petting over being picked up. And she loves toys! She even carries them around the house in her mouth. Foster mom says that if it moves, she is going to like it, but plush stuffed mice are her favorite. Let us know if you are interested in making Brownie a part of your life!
