The Pontchartrain Humane Society will hold its March Pet Adoption Day on March 16. The monthly adopt-athon will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Delta Pet Center, 1370 Corporate Square Drive, Slidell.
PHS is offering all cats, 6 months and older, older, at a half-price adoption fee.
PHS also has many adult and senior dogs and cats needing their own home. All are house trained and have great personalities.
A “Senior for Senior” program for qualified human seniors also is available.
Pontchartrain Humane Society has approximately 68 dogs and cats in individual foster homes.
