Jusani Partners with Animal Welfare Organization to Help Abandoned Animals

I always admire those who make it their mission in life to help homeless pets. There is a wonderful organization founded by Melissa Salina called Jusani which you can find at www.jusani.com. This organization has an urgent desire to do more for the millions of abandoned animals across America.

Melissa started by selling a line of organic tees on Jusani’s website,www.jusani.com. She has since grown the shop, partnering with handicraft artists and designers to sell their distinct products, from home items and art; to clothing and jewelry; to pet treats; bowls, soaps, and accessories. Five dollars of every purchase made on Jusani’s website is donated to a different animal welfare organization each quarter.

Until March 31st, Jusani is raising funds and awareness for the New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Welfare Society of New Fairfield, Connecticut. NFSAW is a non-profit, no-kill shelter that places an average of 200 animals a year in recent years, taking pride in being able to provide its animals quality care and a second chance at life.

NFSAW is the tenth organization helped by Jusani. In addition to helping provide the funds needed to shelter and provide medical care and food for homeless pets, Jusani has provided pet people with informational blogs that address an array of pet issues and topics, including adoption.

We are all strong supporters of shelters and adoption and perhaps, in addition to helping others, Jusani can help you and your shelter too. Your shelter may qualify for assistance through www.jusani.com and if you can submit an application for consideration here: http://jusani.com/content/pet-shelter-application. Of course you can help by shopping at www.jusani.com as well. Please forward this information to the rescue groups in your area that you feel can benefit from this wonderful organization.

Thanks to our friend Lauren for making us aware of this terrific organization.
