Rescue Dog Village Spring Dog Adoption Event March 9th

TORRINGTON — Rescue Dog Village, a non-profit rescue organization, will host its Spring Dog Adoption Event, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at PetCo, 980 Torringford St.

There will be several different breeds to choose from. All dogs for adoption are healthy, vet checked and up-to-date on vaccines. The dogs live in private foster homes and are available once an adoption application has been approved.

Those interested in adopting may fill out an application before the event for pre-approval at www.rescuedogvillage.com. Adoptable dogs can be viewed online. Applications will also be available at the event.

There is an adoption fee which covers all previous veterinary costs and vaccinations.

The group is also in need of foster homes and volunteers. Those applications are available at www.rescuedogvillage.com.

An all-volunteer coalition of responsible rescuers, Rescue Dog Village’s mission is to curtail the number of animals brought into shelters that consequently euthanize them simply because of pet over-population and a lack of adopters.

Those seeking additional information may email Sallie Norelli at rescuedogvillagepr@gmail .com.
