BCAS spring into action: shop or adopt (Texas)

Bark for Life Austin is hosting an adoption and shopping event to benefit Bastrop County Animal Shelter on March 2 at 1832 Farmers Market, located at 1302 Chestnut St. in Bastrop.

Bring your friends and join the shelter staff for this event to help the local animal shelter. Come on down to the farmers market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and meet the dogs available for adoption.

Vendors include VRSTX Art; The Nifty Baby; Dog Gone Krayzie Gourmet Dog Treat Bakery; Paparazzi Pet Spa and Boutique; Tupperware; True Texan Woodwork; and many more.

“Home-based in Kyle, this will be my first Bastrop shelter event to participate in,” said Dog Gone Krayzie owner Veronica Vidaurri. “Since I was a little girl, I have always loved dogs and I wanted to be a vet, but making them happy is what I could do. That is why I started my own dog treat bakery in 2012.”

Vendors will donate 10 percent of their sales to the county shelter.
