Two big pet events in Florida this Saturday, Jan 19th

Sat, Jan 19, is a big day for Dalmatian Rescue of Tampa Bay! Two big events are scheduled for the same day. Can they pull it off? You bet they can. In 2012, they saved 79 dogs and found new homes for 65 dogs. Plus, they will celebrate their 10th Anniversary in 2013. As they say, ‘A Huge feat for a small little rescue.’ They attribute a lot of success to the wonderful people who lend a hand to help.

The first event is the ACOUSTIC ANIMAL JAM at 5230 Berry Patch Road, Dover, FL. (Map) Bands that day begin at 10 AM and run until 10 PM

DRTB will benefit from half of the sales of a 50/50 Raffle on the day of their event, so we need volunteers to go sell tickets! They especially need evening help so please let Susan know by emailing her at if you can help.

They are also asking event attendees to bring donated food for their fostered dogs so let’s hope folks are feeling generous that day. Visit their website for more details on events.

Secondly, they can use your help with what was previously a Rally. It is now the PARADE OF RESCUES and has multiple sponsors.

Please email Pat at if you can help with this event held in Pinellas Park.

Both events make for a fun day for all and a good day for the animals! Hope you can make it to one, or both.
