Pet adoption prices slashed to $13 – Arizona Daily Star

If you’re in the market for a new pet, now’s the time to adopt one from the Pima Animal Care Center. Through the end of the month the adoption fee has been reduced to $13.

All the pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. There’s a $15 licensing fee for adult dogs.

The county-run shelter is open seven days a week – noon-7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

It’s at 4000 N. Silverbell Road. For more information, including how to volunteer at the shelter, go to or call 243-5900.
