How much is that doggie in the window? Through the rest of October at the Lewis and Clark County Humane Society, they’re half priced!
October is Adopt-a-Dog month, so until the 31st, you can take home a furry friend to play catch with and to keep your feet warm in the approaching winter months, pending approval of an adoption application, of course.
The fee, which is normally $120, will only be $60.
These dogs have been vaccinated, spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. They’re just waiting for someone to take them home.
“You know these are homeless dogs, they’re either strays or owner turn-ins, they couldn’t live with the previous family for one reason or another. So it’s just nice to get them a forever home that they’ll be comfortable in rather than living in a kennel,” said Tanner Morgan, the dog adoption counselor at the Lewis and Clark County Humane Society.
