THERE are more than 20 four-legged friends of all shapes and sizes looking for new homes in the Gladstone region.
All will be on their best behaviour at Friends of RSPCA Gladstone’s Dog Adoption Day on Sunday, as they attempt to win the hearts of potential owners.
Each has been saved by the group after being surrendered, dumped or impounded and never collected by their owner.
Vet care co-ordinator Clare Stretton is urging the community to consider adopting a new best friend.
“We are inundated with dogs and pups at present and need to re-home a lot before we can take any more,” she said.
“It’s amazing how many dogs are surrendered to the pound.
