Super pet adoption event planned Sept. 8 in Fort Collins – coloradoan.com

Three of Larimer County’s animal welfare organizations — Larimer Humane Society, Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming — will unite Sept. 8 for their annual joint super adoption event, “We Are Family.”

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Poudre Pet and Feed’s north (622 N. College Ave.), south (6204 S. College Ave.), east (2100 W. Drake Road), and west (2601 S. Lemay Avenue) locations in Fort Collins.

Healthy cats, dogs, kittens and puppies will be available for adoption.

Adoption fees for canines age 1 year and older will be discounted to $50 and puppies can be adopted at their regular adoption fees. Community members can name their price on adult cats age 1 year and older and kittens will be available for $75.

All dog and cat adoption fees include initial vaccines, treatment for internal parasites, spay or neuter surgery, a safety collar, microchip and registration, and a post-adoption medical exam .

A $12 licensing fee applies for all dogs and cats that will reside in Loveland, Fort Collins, Wellington and Timnath and dogs in unincorporated Larimer County.
