The Cleveland Animal Protective League will join with nine other Northeast Ohio animal welfare organizations to hold a 24-hour adoption event from 5 p.m. Sept. 7 through 5 p.m. Sept. 8 at PetSmart’s Parma location, 6870 Ridge Road.
Hoping to find new homes for more than 300 dogs, cats and small mammals, participating organizations include: Berea Animal Rescue Friends, Canine Lifeline, the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter, the Geauga Humane Society’s Rescue Village, Healing Hearts Ferret Rescue, Marilyn’s Voice, the Medina County SPCA, the Public Animal Welfare Society of Ohio (PAWS) and Tails from the City.
“Adopt Around the Clock” will feature same-day adoptions, reduced adoption fees, entertainment, food trucks, contests, children’s activities, media and celebrity appearances.
