‘Hooters 4 Neuters’ benefits Shelter Hope

This weekend the Thousand Oaks Hooters restaurant will host the inaugural Hooters 4 Neuters Fundraising and Awareness Event to raise money for Shelter Hope Pet Shop and awareness for spaying, neutering and pet adoption.

The Thousand Oaks Hooters at 401 N. Moorpark Road will donate 20 percent of sales of all food and merchandise from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sun., Aug. 26 to the Shelter Hope Pet Shop.

During the event, appointments can be scheduled for low-cost spay and neuter services for pets in need.

Shelter Hope Pet Shop was created to aid in the adoption of shelter pets, to promote education and awareness, and to help decrease the homeless pet population. Shelter Hope is a volunteer-based nonprofit relying on fundraising events to continue its mission.
