Give a Cat or Dog a New Home – East Brunswick, NJ Patch

Amber is a very sweet cat who was found starving and was probably dumped in an apartment complex.

One of the ARF volunteers found her and two kittens crying for food. They devoured two cans of food immediately, so she loaded up the family in her car and took them in. Amber is still quite thin and needs some fattening up and some TLC. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccines, and tested negative for felv/fiv. Amber will be at the Petco adoption center on Route 1 in Edison on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Check back with the ARF website on Saturday and Sunday to see if anything has changed. Help find a cat or dog a home by attending one of several adoption events sponsored by the Animal Rescue Force of East Brunswick this weekend. Every Saturday and Sunday you can find ARF at the PetSmart on Route 18 in East Brunswick from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; at the Petco on Route 1 in Edison from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and at the Englishtown Auction, 90 Wilson Road, Englishtown, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (located in the big gray building).
