Female Maine coon cat Keeley in Sayreville needs a new home – NJ.com

Keeley is a 6-year-old female Maine coon cat. Originally adopted from the Sayreville Pet Adoption Center as a kitten, she had to come back when her owner passed away.

Keeley, whose coat is brown, gold and white, is described as an affectionate lap cat. She is spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, litterbox trained and up-to-date on shots.

The shelter, which is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:30 to 5 p.m.; Thursday from 12:30 to 7 p.m.; Saturday 12:30 to 4 p.m., and Sunday 12:30 to 3 p.m., is hosting its third annual “Rods and Paws” car show on July 22. The fundraising event will be held in Burke’s Park on Washington Road in Sayreville from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Trophies will be awarded in categories including Best Custom, Best Orphaned, Best Truck, Best in Show and People’s Choice. The day’s activities will also include giveaways and a 50/50 drawing, with all proceeds benefiting the care of animals in the Sayreville shelter.
