Solano County authorities are urging locals to celebrate freedom and liberty during the 4th of July week by giving it to one of the pets at the county’s animals shelter.
The “Freedom Fest” pet adoption event will be taking place at the Solano County Animal Shelter from Saturday through July 8.
During that time, all pet adoption fees will be discounted to $17.76, however, the price does not include the $10 microchip and $6 vaccination fee.
The shelter will be closed July 4.
To view available pets or review adoption procedures, stop by the Solano County Animal Shelter, 2510 Claybank Road, Fairfield, or visit the shelter’s website, www.solanocountyanimalshelter.com.
