Local Dog Adoption: Helping 250 Dogs and Puppies Get Adopted This Year Is Goal of TheDogTrainingSecret.com – MarketWatch

Every year animal shelters euthanize between 3 million and 4 million dogs. The Dog Training Secret, a dog training program, wants to help end needless deaths and increase dog adoptions in all 50 states. The company will partner with 50 local pet adoption centers in 50 states and will pay for five pets to be adopted at each partner site.

“It’s a truly sad statistic and extremely overwhelming,” said Jason Macek, Contributor to The Dog Training Secret ( http://www.TheDogTrainingSecret.com ). “Pablo Picasso said it best when he said, ‘Action is the foundational key to all success.’ So we are choosing to act and make a difference for as many dogs as we can.”

The company is announcing a nationwide program to improve local pet adoption and help save dogs in all 50 states by working with pet adoption centers and local animal shelters.

“There are approximately 5,000 animal shelters and humane societies around the country and we are looking to partner with at least one in each of the 50 states. We will work directly with that shelter to awareness in their community with a goal to help each of those shelters adopt at least 5 dogs in their care to loving families,” he said.

“We also will provide training courses at no cost to people who adopt dogs from the shelters we partner with. Many times the reasons dogs are surrendered to shelters is because they have not been properly trained which leads to behavior issues that people either can’t or won’t deal with. If we can help with the training, that should help keep a few more dogs out of shelters,” he said.

They are calling on pet lovers everywhere to help get more pets adopted.
