From Homeward Pet Adoption Center, Woodinville, WA:
Megs is a playful young dog who was found as a stray in the Everett area. After her owners could not be found, she came to Homeward Pet Adoption Center for a second chance at finding a home.
Megs has been at our shelter for about six months, a long stay, but she is just over a year old. With the help of her volunteer friends, she’s learning what being an adult dog is all about, which includes mastering leash walking and fitting into new social situations.
Forty-eight pound Megs is highly intelligent and likes to be challenged. Her new owner should have prior dog experience with working breed dogs and possess knowledge of positive training techniques. Megs has tremendous potential and will be a wonderful dog for that special person who can provide her with structure and guidance. Megs needs to work on being appropriate around other dogs and should be the only pet in her new child-free home. Besides daily walks, Megs likes car rides and working on challenging puzzles that keep her busy. She has also been working on tricks that include holding the crosswalk flag for her walker as they cross the street! She is always learning new things and impressing us with how smart she is. Now it’s her turn to go HOME! If you’re looking for an energetic companion, Megs may be the right dog for you.
Come meet Megs at Homeward Pet! We’re located at 13132 NE 177th Place in Woodinville. Our shelter is open for visitors between 12pm and 6pm, Wednesday through Sunday. See all our adoptable dogs, cats, kittens and puppies at www.homewardpet.org.
