Naomi the Cat and Huckleberry the Hound Dog Are Looking for New Homes – Wyandotte, MI Patch

From Wyandotte Animal Pound, Wyandotte, MI:

Naomi is a petite girl who loves to cuddle, but prefers not to be carried around. She loves people, getting attention and jumping up next to you unassisted. Naomi is one of the longest residents at the pound and deserves much more than life in a cage. Naomi is nice to other cats, though she prefers if they’re playful. She loves toys that squeak and attention from people. She is a cat who is full of life. Naomi is spayed and all ready for her new home.

Huckleberry is a young and energetic Hound/Beagle mix who will need an owner devoted to taking the time to train him. He’s a very entertaining dog who loves to take long walks. He hops around like a bunny and would be a great addition to any active family. He is neutered, tested negative for heartworm and is current on shots.

The Wyandotte Animal Pound is located at 1170 Grove St. Adoptions are done 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday. An entire list, including photographs and descriptions, of all the pound’s adoptable animals can be found on its website. The pound also can be contacted through email.
