Cats Emmett and Darcy Are Looking for New Homes – Wyandotte, MI Patch

Emmett is an adorable young adult black and white tuxedo. He has never had a home after being born a stray from a stray mother. We’re hoping to break the cycle with Emmett. He seems to be very curious and likes to get in your face when you take a picture of him. Emmett has become a very polite boy who will jump from his bed to greet people when they stop by. He now loves to be brushed and scratched behind the ears.

Darcy is the complete opposite. A real cat lover would be perfect for Darcy. She loves all of the volunteers at the pound, but it took her a few weeks to come out of her shell. She’s a very affectionate cat who would flourish in a home with mature adults.

The Wyandotte Animal Pound is located at 1170 Grove St. Adoptions are done 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday. An entire list, including photographs and descriptions, of all the pound’s adoptable animals can be found on its website. The pound also can be contacted through email.
