Poor Fig the Cat’s Human Had to Go to a Nuring Home, Now He Is Homeless Too – Westhampton-Hampton Bays, NY Patch

This week, the Southampton Animal Shelter is looking to find a home for Fig is an 8-year-old male cat that has been at the shelter since May 2011

According to Donald Bambrick, the animal shelter supervisor, Fig came to the shelter when her owner had to move into a nursing home.

“He’s good with other cats and would do well in a multi-cat home,” Bambrick said.

All animals are licensed, up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and have been spayed or neutered, according to Bambrick.

Adoption fees typically range from $40 to $60 for a cat and from $60 to $125 for a dog.

To adopt Fig or any of the other animals available for adoption, call the shelter at 631-728-7387 or visit them at 102 Old Riverhead Road in Hampton Bays.
