Woodinville’s Homeward Pet Celebrates 20,000 Adoption – Woodinville, WA Patch

After celebrating their 22nd Anniversary of helping homeless cats and dogs last month, Homeward Pet Adoption Center in Woodinville completed its 20,000th adoption on Sunday, March 18.

The special pet is Ava, a 4-month-old Torti kitten. Adopted by Peggy LaReaux, who was accompanied to Homeward Pet to find a playmate for her 12-year-old cat.

In honor of this milestone, Peggy was surprised with no fee for the adoption and a gift basket full of fun toys, treats, and a comfy blanket to help Ava settle into her new home.

Homeward Pet Adoption Center is a no-kill, non-profit animal adoption center. The shelter cares for homeless animals from all over Washington state, whether surrendered by owners or transferred from other rescue organizations or shelters that euthanize.
