The City of Irvine Animal Care Center is hosting a “St. Catrick’s Day” cat adoption event this Saturday, March 17 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
For one day only, all cats, ages seven months and older, will have their adoption fees reduced by 50 percent.
The shelter would like to find homes for 100 cats living there.
To qualify for the reduced adoption rate, cats must either go home on March 17 or be placed on hold by would-be adopters.
The Center’s standard application process will apply.
All cats adopted through the Center are spayed or neutered, have received age-appropriate vaccinations, are tested for FIV and FelV, and have been microchipped. Cats also receive a complimentary veterinarian check-up at a local animal hospital and free life-long nail trimmings at the Center.
