First Purple Hearted Puppies cat survivors ready for adoption – al.com

After four weeks of treatment, the first group of animals seized from the owners of Purple Hearted Puppies in Summerdale are healthy enough to go to new homes and will be among pets offered for adoption next weekend, Baldwin County Humane Society officials said.

The Humane Society has custody of 66 dogs and 56 cats seized in January. On Saturday, 41 of the cats will be available for adoption at PetSmart at the Eastern Shore Centre in Spanish Fort from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The adoption fee is $55.

Other dogs and cats that were not among the animals seized will also be available for adoption at the event.
