Meet our outgoing and ever-adaptable fellow, Dervish! Dervish is a handsome one-eyed, 11-year-old, white and black domestic short-haired cat.
Dervish was confiscated by Animal Friends’ humane officer, who found him suffering from neglect in a hoarding situation. In spite of the challenges in his life, Dervish is a happy, outgoing lap cat. Dervish loves people, dogs and other cats (especially Damsel, Dapple, and Dainty, who he lived with).
Dervish will always sound a little bit congested, but it is nothing to be alarmed about. He is not on any medicine and just need his nose wiped regularly. It does not slow him down one bit.
We love him because he is one of the most playful cats you will ever meet. He loves playing with all cat toys, especially wand toys, catnip, scratching posts, laser pointers and, most of all, toy rattle balls.
Please give Dervish a second look today. He would be a great fit for practically any household. He can adjust to a home with dogs, other cats or kids. He has been neutered, micro-chipped, and is up-to-date on vaccinations.
Dervish has been waiting his whole life for you! Please ask one of the adoption counselors about goofy, confident and playful Dervish!
