Beautiful Cat Cayenne is the Pet Project of the Week, Help Find Her a Home – FoxCharlotte

Cayenne is a beautiful one year old black kitty. She is very sweet and talks a lot. She came in today to promote CMPD’s black dog and cat adoption fair and to raise awareness about Black Dog (and Cat) Syndrome.

On Saturday, January 28th CMPD Animal Care and Control will be holidng a “Big Black Dogs and cats too!” pet adoption event. The event will be held at The Boulevard at South End, 1400 South Tryon from 10am until 2pm. Help raise awareness about the Black Dog Syndrome by adopting shelter animals into new homes.

The Humane Society of Charlotte and CMPD Animal Care & Control have partnered together to launch their Partnership for Pets-Charlotte program. This program was created to increase the awareness in Charlotte regarding the issues of animal welfare and to get the community engaged in solving the problem of pet overpopulation.
