Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is the new spokesman for the Baltimore Humane Society, and several billboards have his face on it to help promote awareness for the nonprofit.Earlier this year, Flacco donated $9,000 to the shelter as part of his Dunkin Donuts “Joe on the Go” campaign, and he spent some time with the animals.”He really feels a connection to the animals,” said BHS Executive Director Jen Swanson. “He toured the shelter. He really liked the rabbits.”The Baltimore Humane Society wants people to send in pictures of their pets fired up for the game. Some of the photos will be posted on their Facebook page and will be entered to win prizes signed by Flacco, including autographed photos, dog toys, clothing and water bowls.”People are sending in pics like you wouldnt believe. Theyre coming in from all over the place,” Swanson said.
