I am all for happy holiday endings, especially when animals are involved.
In Canada, there are as many as a quarter of a million orphaned pets in need of loving homes.
That’s where Iams, the name behind pet food, steps up to the plate with its Iams Home 4 the Holidays initiative — one of the world’s largest pet adoption programs. Now in its 13th year, Iams Home 4 the Holidays is dedicated to finding loving homes for more than 1.5 million orphaned pets across North America.
Iams Home 4 the Holidays works in conjunction with founding partner Helen Woodward Animal Centre as well as the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies and 3,500 animal organizations worldwide, to encourage pet adoption using a variety of means — either by adopting through participating shelters or donating food for animals in need.
