SF/ACC is full! Adopt a pet! -Tails Of The City

There is an overabundance of homeless animals in our fair city and San Francisco Animal Care & Control (SF/ACC) is currently unable to take in any more dogs.

The shelter told ABC7 that, in the past few months, it’s witnessed a significant increase in the number of dogs being surrendered, which it associates with the struggling economy and the expense associated with adopting and caring for a dog. Deputy Director Kathleen Brown says SF/ACC has been taking in about 25 more dogs per month this year compared to last year.
