The MSPCA-Angell is in the final weeks of its annual SPF75 adult cat adoptathon. The campaign kicked off in June as an effort to find new homes for hundreds of adult cats within its Adoption Centers and foster network. The MSPCA-Angell has already found homes for more than 400 adult cats since the start of the adoptathon.
In celebration of the last week of SPF75 adoptathon, and to find homes for as many cats as possible before the campaign officially ends, the MSPCA-Angell will waive the standard adult cat adoption fee of $150 on Saturday, Aug. 27 and Sunday, Aug. 28. The organization hopes adopters will still donate toward the care of their new family member, to help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, immunizations, and other routine care.
