Chihuahua, Schnauzer dogs need patient owners – NJ.com

From Second Chance Adoption League, Oak Ridge, NJ:

Jake is an 8-year-old purebred Chihuahua. Lilith is a 6-year-old purebred white Schnauzer. Both were rescued by the Second Chance Pet Adoption League from a puppy mill where they lived in cages with minimal human contact or medical care.

According to volunteers with the league, both dogs are shy, but both are sweet. They will need patient owners who allow them time to adapt to home life. In the best circumstance, a friendly dog will already be in the home to help them adjust.

Jake has been neutered and Lilith has been spayed. Both are up-to-date on shots.
