Lane County Animal Services slashes prices on cat adoption due to overcrowding – KMTR.com

Eugene (KMTR) Lane County Animal Services is slashing adoption fees for cats because they just don’t have room for them.

They are hoping to find forever homes for 24 cats and kittens who were found severely neglected. Most were underweight with coughs and eye infections.

The problems usually start with a well meaning person who just wasn’t able to care for so many animals.

LCAS already had a full adoption room, but is trying to make it work.
