It’s Raining Cats and Dogs – Fort Bragg, NC Patch

You might not be able to save nine lives, but how about one? The Fort Bragg animal shelter and adoption facility had 45 kittens and cats as of Friday in need of some tender loving care.

Animal control on Fort Bragg is responsible for picking up stray animals and attempting to find their owners. While most house pets can be traced with a microchip or a collar with their owners’ information, there are plenty of pets out there with no identifying information.

If you have recently lost a pet, check with the shelter first. After three days they turn over the animals for adoption. The animals will be kept at the facility, based on space availability, for 14 days.
