Kitten, Cat Adoption Party Scheduled for Saturday at ABQ’s Tingley Beach

Anyone wanting a kitten or a cat might want to head out to Tingley Beach on Saturday.

The Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department said Thursday in a news release that it will be holding a Beach Baby Kitten and Cat Adoption Party from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Each adoption will include spay or neuter, all vaccinations required by law and a microchip for better identification, all at a greatly reduced price, according to the news release.

The news release said people who already have a kitten or cat can bring their pets to the party and get a free microchip, a $50.00 value.

In addition, people who turn out for the party will be treated to live music performed by Donohoe and Grimes, according to the news release.
