The animal rescue group, K-9 Resque, is based in St. Clair, but they have done a lot of work throughout northern Macomb County since their inception four years ago. Now they are looking for assistance in raising money for a transport vehicle to help their all-volunteer organization do the work they so dearly love.
Founder Sharon Gorski said she has been using a family vehicle to rescue animals throughout the area, but the use of that vehicle will soon have run its course and K-9 Resque is looking for a truck or mini-van to help perform their work.
“Without a vehicle we are back at ground level and the deadline is starting to get close,” Gorski said of the July 31 date when she will lose the organization’s current mode of transport.
