EHS experiences record-breaking feline adoption event – iNews880.com

About 135 families welcomed a feline into their homes over the weekend.

The Edmonton Humane Society says that’s a record-breaker for the cat adoption event that was held on Sunday.

The society’s Shawna Randolph says the Feline Fee-Waived Fun Day relieves some of the pressure on the shelter. But, she says there are still 300 kitties looking for a home.

“Whether they be in the shelter waiting to be spayed and neutered, and then put on the adoption floor,” says Randolph.
