Cat adoption drive succeeds – Lancaster County

The Humane League of Lancaster County wants to find good homes for 750 of its feline residents by August.

Thanks to last week’s adoption campaign, that number is now down to 529.

From June 20 through Sunday, the Humane League waived its adoption fees, spayed or neutered cats, provided basic vaccinations and microchips for identification, included a complimentary exam at a participating veterinarian and gave away a five-pound bag

That is great news — over 200 cats adopted!
