Gallery to hold “Art and Arf” pet adoption event – The Tennessean

Gallery 202 and Williamson County Animal Control will team up Saturday to “Unleash the Love” during a special pet adoption day at the Franklin art gallery at 202 Second Ave.

The event will run 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will include vendors, live music, door prizes and gourmet pet treats. A sizable number of dogs and cats will be there — all looking for forever homes.

“Kelly had the vision to showcase our wonderful adoptable animals in the best and brightest light, and Dillards has donated makeup for face-painting animal faces on children,” said Debby Leddy, assistant shelter director at Williamson County Animal Control. “We’ll have dogs and cats available for adoption that day, and the event will be held in the back courtyard of the gallery, which is a nice area with shade.”
