St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, Madison, reminds public to adopt during Be Kind To Animals Week – NJ.com

With Be Kind to Animals Week underway, St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center asks residents to perform the kindest act of all: adopt a homeless animal.

St. Hubert’s Madison and North Branch shelters are filled with dogs and cats looking for their second chance at happiness in a loving home. Every animal available for adoption at St. Hubert’s is spayed/neutered and receives a comprehensive health and temperament evaluation by skilled shelter personnel, vaccinations, bathing and grooming.

The Red Collar Society is St. Hubert’s adoption program for senior dogs (eight years and older) and cats (10 years and older). Red Collar Society dogs and cats offer 100% love at half the regular adoption fee. Red Collar Society dogs and cats are experienced at living with people and giving unconditional love, and are most often trained and well-mannered.
