Pet Adoption Center Celebrates Grand Opening – Snellville, GA Patch

On a recent Saturday morning, the crowd lined up outside, filing through the doors of the Gwinnett Humane Society’s adoption center at The Avenue Webb Gin. Animals were calm despite the chatter.

The humane society moved its adoption center to the Snellville site in March. It had previously been located at Discover Mills in Lawrenceville. The organization will celebrate its official grand opening today, April 16. Festivities begin at 10 a.m., and there will be adoptable animals children’s activities, door prizes, refreshments and a bake sale.

My daughter has a beautiful rat terrier/chichuaua mix female dog. Her nane is Halo and is tan and white. She is a minature and probably weighs 5 lbs. if that much. She is two. My daughter has had a baby and is having very bad financial problems and this dog needs a home where she can be taking care of properly. If you know of someone or a rescue who would be willing to take her you can contact me at 770-713-4603 or my email above.

Thank You!
