Cat Adoption Team seeking 10,000 pounds of donated cat food

With demand at an all time high, the Cat Adoption Team’s Cat Food Bank pantry shelves are pretty empty.

This means the Cat Adoption Team now is seeking the public’s help to stock its shelves and build up reserves by July.

According to spokeswoman Kathey Covey, the Sherwood-based shelter is seeking to collect 10,000 pounds or more in cat food and other pet supplies. Covey said the hope is that CAT will be able to build up a three-month reserve of food for volunteers to hand out.
